The Lemosho route is considered to be the best route on Mt Kilimanjaro. It’s possible to trek this route in six days, however here at Kenrobs Africa we follow an eight day itinerary which allows you to ascend steadily with plenty of time to get acclimatized to the high altitudes. This longer itinerary helps to maximize your overall enjoyment and your chances of reaching the summit at Uhuru Peak.
Overview
The 10-Day Lemosho Route trek via Kenrobs Africa offers one of the most scenic, varied, and highest-success paths to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m / 19,341 ft). The route begins on the remote western slopes, moving through lush rainforest, expansive moorlands, the iconic Shira Plateau, alpine desert, and finally the glacial summit zone.
Because of the gradual profile, “climb-high, sleep-low” schedule, and extended duration, Lemosho offers excellent acclimatization — giving trekkers a strong chance of reaching the top while minimizing risks of altitude sickness.
This 10-day itinerary is ideal for travelers who want:
- A more relaxed pace and time to enjoy Kilimanjaro’s changing ecosystems
- High summit success with less crowding than southern routes
- A fully supported, professionally guided experience with comfort, safety, and stunning scenery
Kenrobs Africa ensures experienced guides, trained porters, high-quality camping or hut accommodations (depending on option), full meals, and seamless logistics.
